Bazmark is a pop-culture powerhouse that works across a range of artistic forms such as film, television, theatre, opera and music. As the creative home of Auteur Filmmaker and artist Baz Luhrmann and his collaborators this company is a moveable force that conjures the imagination and strikes a chord in the hearts of audiences through their flamboyant and extravagant works. Known for their iconic work of Broadway's La Boheme, Design of Miami, Florida building, Hotel Faena, and films such as Romeo+Juliet, Moulin Rouge & The Great Gatsby.
What started as an interview at the City Council for a placement to work with an arts organisation as an emerging digital storyteller (social media and content creator) turns out to work with Baz Luhrmann himself and his company, Bazmark. This supposed two-month placement turned into a year-long working partnership on very exciting projects.
In charge of developing a social media presence online including Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok to deliver a range of artistic projects and endeavours.
In this period of time we did curatorial work on Instagram for the 25th Anniversary of Romeo+Juliet (1997), Chanel No.5: THE Short film and Elvis (2022).
